Most of us complain about not having enough of it. Sometimes referred to as the fourth dimension, time is the progression of events from past to present to future. The definition of time varies depending on who you ask, but time in terms of physics is described as ‘what a clock reads’, and is measured in seconds. Physicists believe that time began at the same time as the Universe in the Big Bang nearly 14 billion years ago.
