Cormac McCarthy’s novel The Road follows a father and son making their way across the Earth after an unnamed cataclysmic event. It’s an unremittingly bleak story, filled with desolate vistas and gut-wrenching scenes, and the movie adaptation is no different.
Throughout their journey a tribe of rednecks track the father and son, making for an enthralling film that you don’t want to end.

Saw this, liked it
A very thought provoking film, dark and sinister and just a bit ambiguous. The end might be misunderstood as bieng a bit mushy but only if you assume the 'followers' are the good guys.
