How do we know the temperature at the centre of the Sun?

Of course, no-one will ever go there to find out for certain, but we can still be pretty sure that it’s around 15,000,000°C. That’s the figure obtained from detailed mathematical models of the interior of the Sun, which have successfully explained features we can observe about both the Sun and other stars.
