Should adult apps be allowed on the iPhone?

Thousands of adult-themed iPhone applications have been removed from Apple's App Store.
Apple is reported to have taken the action after receiving complaints about the nature of some of the material on sale. Among those to fall foul of Apple's new rules is Australian app creator ChilliFresh. It's Wobble iBoobs app allowed users to add a 'wobble' to, among other things, photos of women's breasts. It's thought that as many as 5000 apps have been taken off sale. But there's been criticism of Apple's policy from some who say the company's choices don't seem consistent – an app from Playboy is still live for instance.
