Will scientists ever find the Yeti?

A new scientific project is about to get underway which will use DNA testing to investigate remains claimed to be from the Yeti.
The scientists will begin by analysing samples collected by Bernard Heuvelmans, a Belgian-French biologist who investigated reported sightings of the mysterious beast between 1950 and 2001.

The team, led by Prof Bryan Sykes from Oxford University and Dr Michel Sartori, director of Switzerland's Lausanne Museum of Zoology, will also be accepting potential Yeti and Bigfoot remains from elsewhere. They give full details of how to apply for a sampling kit on the project’s website.

So, do you think science will one day confirm the existence of the Yeti? Or will the beasts join mermaids and unicorns in the pantheon of mythical creatures?
