Hail!!....from the North.

Hello all, I have bought the odd focus magazine and I really enjoy it. I’m considering subscribing.

I’m an IT technician who has always enjoyed science and I’m currently changing my career into wildlife biology.

I suspect I will be asking many question to you pro-scientific folk ;)

Hoping to have some very good discussions :)

Regards
Finntroll

Well met sir and welcome to our hall, take a seat and join in. :)

By 'north', does one mean the far frozen north, land of the long night and statuesque nordic peoples or somewhere up around York?

Well, yesterday, when everyone in the supposedly sunny south was getting soaking wet watching a lot of boats on the Thames, up here in the frozen north it were nice and sunny and dry...... mostly.

Although I didn't notice as I was inside all day long. ;)
