Hello all, I have bought the odd focus magazine and I really enjoy it. I’m considering subscribing.

I’m an IT technician who has always enjoyed science and I’m currently changing my career into wildlife biology.

I suspect I will be asking many question to you pro-scientific folk

Well, yesterday, when everyone in the supposedly sunny south was getting soaking wet watching a lot of boats on the Thames, up here in the frozen north it were nice and sunny and dry...... mostly.

Although I didn't notice as I was inside all day long.
