I was given this book as a gift and to be honest I would not have chosen to read it otherwise as I feared it would either be preaching to the converted (which would be pointless) or be so utterly barmy that it lacked any credibility at all (which would be disappointing). Fact is it is nether of these things. I accept that it is a book written by an AGW sceptic for AGW sceptics so it does have a certain bias but I truly recommend it to all as part of a balanced insight into how the 'history' of AGW, which supposedly goes back 150 years, has been largely fabricated over the last three decades (right up until the 1980's a new ice age was very much on the cards) and how the UN has been allowed (through the IPCC) to exert global influence on the politics and finance of nation states around the world.

I'll not labour the point further as I will start to sound overtly political, but if you really want to get an alternative view on what has been going on with AGW then you really should give this book a go.

In the manner of offering a properly balanced (as per BBC rules) argument you understand.
