Well for me the best was Hartnell, with only a few coming close, Tennant being one.

I too will have to wait and see. ;)

Early days but the new guy seems ok in the role so far, and his new side kick too (what is it with weddings though!?) but let us not forget that it is essentially children's entertainment. ;)

Finally got round to watching and have to say I really enjoyed it. It was getting a bit dark and depressing end of last series, but I'm really looking forward to this new instalment.

Plus, the new Doctor isn't that bad looking ;)

Each to his own Flakkarin, :D

Must say though, I think he's grabbed the role by the neck and giving it his best. He's a good actor and the storylines are as good as ever. Steven Moffat, who wrote my favourite episode, "Blink", is in charge now and it's looking good.

So has anyone been watching it? What do you think of it so far? I personally quite like it :)

It works for me, even though I think David Tennant was the best Doctor since William Hartnell I quite like the new incarnation but far more importantly the story lines are really working well I think. A bit far fetched in some cases I guess but then that's what science 'fiction' is supposed to be about really isn't it? Stretching the boundaries and all. And boundaries don't get more stretched than by time travel and relative dimensions in space, now do they? ;)

I would just like to add that I think that the new style 'Teli-tubby' Daleks are just plain silly and I hope that the new Doctor puts me out of my misery over this sad temporal anomaly sooner rather than even sooner. ;)

Pond has become a bit of a cloths horse and I must admit her boyfriend is irritating but if you need someone to be dissected by subterranean beings, well they do quite well. ;)

I think they need a worryingly sinister and intelligent ten-ish year old as the Doctors sidekick.
A bit like Wednesday from the Adams Family. ;)

I like Amy but yeah her boyfriend is annoying!
And to be honest, I'm bored of Daleks in general, they come back EVERY season, it's getting a bit old now.

But, otherwise I'm enjoying the series a lot, some really nice storylines, I liked the dream one, and the angels. I actually had one of those kind of dreams last night, I was having a nice dream then I 'woke up' in a shop and was begging for that to be the dream and to wake up in the other dream again... sometimes I'm not sure if I'm awake ;)

I'd quite like if the Daleks become his ally, even if it's just for one episode.
I just think they're quite cool (except prehaps for the new ones, which remind me of power rangers)

Oh yes, the Power Rangers, I had forgotten them, yes they do look a bit like them colour-wise I guess (no cute pink one though ;) ) but they still look more like the Teli-tubbies to me, I almost excepted them to start going La-La and giggle manically.

By the way did I miss something during that episode but were all three of the original Daleks destroyed. as I only recall seeing two of them actually being exterminated!? :?

The thing with the Daleks is that despite the clunky retro-dustbinesk exterior the one eyed slimy green octopus thing that lives inside each one believes that they are the ultimate beings and everything else must die. Difficult to get cuddly with that I reckon. Plus they and the Doctor have 'history'.

Oh and Miss Pond needs to be a little less self conscious about her height. Stand up straight girl! The ceiling really isn't that low!!Don't be shy, revel in it!
