Well that was unfortunate! 
For reasons I do not fully understand the website applied a blanket IP ban to all users and I can only apologise for the inconvenience and anxiety this might have caused you all.

Ah that explains it; I was starting to get withdrawals symptoms from not being able to login to the forum
