Hulloooo

Postby EzBloke » Nov 6th, '09, 10:50

Hello everyone!

I've turned up late to this wonderful magazine... sorry - I have only been reading it for the last six months. A subscription request is in the annual Santa begging letter which is good. (The alternative was a description in the Santa Leggings annual and no-one wants to go there...) I think it was the bright colours that attracted me to it, like a magpie to a flame. Oh... wait... no, that's not right... anyway love the mag, and will get on everyone's nerves on the forum with my ignorance (see above...)

Ez
PS - Thought you should know; this is the only magazine that I read from cover to cover; every article is absorbing. Although some of the adverts are quite dull. But that's my biggest criticism. Oh and the sports page on the back is always missing... sigh.

Oh yes, we are well used to that don't you worry. Serendipity Publishing for example, now he knew how to go on.

So what is this 'syncing' feeling you are getting? Sounds most odd, although some folks have suffered problems with this site so it might be worth looking into. ;)

Hmmm, no-one else had that "synced" thingy-bob then?
I shall, as a consummate professional, duly ignore it until something drops off... please don't let anything drop off... well... nothing important anyway...

The rats came of their own accord; as far as I can tell, they are looking for a sinking ship to practice bar-diving and such frivolities...

Flakkarin;
Um... well...

On paper I am a well informed, witty raconteur (as opposed to a racketeer, which would get me in trouble… if this was the nineteen-twenties…) with a good conversational manner and broad but fluid opinions. I have been known to wax lyrical about musical cylinders from the eighteen-eighties* but tend to spend my online time building up a cult following… every single one of them waiting to type “you can’t say that. Did he just say that? Oh. My. God. He can’t say that and get away with it. Oh… wait… no, he didn’t.”

In real life, however, I'm a 6' 6" toned and muscular fantasist with an IQ of "Google" plus an amazing narcoleptic power over anyone I can corner into a conversation, which would be why I’m always online, really…

My favourite colour is “puce” and, whilst I may be forty-three years old I have a childish sense of humour which can best be described as “pathetic.” Sorry that shouldn’t have read “can best be” it should have read “is constantly”. I always get those two mixed up…

My favourite science is the one I understand. And when I finally understand one, I will certainly let everyone know. I, too, am an Agbangstic; having never experienced the Big Bang personally I deny its existence… I don’t really but I thought if people stated using the term “Agbangstic”, I might get in the dictionary as having invented it… Oh, who am I kidding it is so not going to catch on. Sigh.

What else… um… educationally speaking; I’m not. I may appear to be but I refer you to my IQ listed above. I have four ‘O’ Levels. Good one’s I’ll grant you, but four there are; two English ones and Math... (There is a joke in there if your life is so empty you are willing to go hunting for it.) All four are at the grade “mediocre”.

There. S’me.

:)

I tried that, but I couldn't bear the sight of my smug grinning self staring back at me all the time. ;)

Does anyone else find the "Tag Cloud" sphere on the "home" page fascinating?
I've just spent half an hour whizzing it around in all directions - it is very very cool.

(I posted this here because there doesn't seem to be a forum called "non-science drivel" which is technically wher I would spend my days.
