The Good Book: A Secular Bible

Postby Oly » Nov 19th, '11, 09:33

I know you don't do religion on here, but I thought this was a pretty interesting concept. :)

Drawing on the wisdom of 2,500 years of contemplative non-religious writing on all that it means to be human - from the origins of the universe to small matters of courtesy and kindness in everyday life... "The Good Book" offers a thoughtful, non-religious alternative to the many people who do not follow one of the world's great religions.

Thanks for the post Oly. This could well make an interesting read.

Cynically, I rather suspect it will be like a Hawking's "A Brief History of Time", and be bought by many to sit on bookshelves and coffee tables, looking interesting.
