I've just read through some of the customer reviews and attributes for this thing. Does anyone have one? Does it really do even half of what is claimed for it? Would anyone actually pay that much for a cable, or are the reviewers all stark raving mad? ;)

Hi Esther,

At a glance I'd be initially skeptical myself that this does anything anyone would personally notice or to justify the cost. The world of audio is particularly infected by these super cables, em dampers and all manner of improvements for a handsome price tag. Much of it is little more than marketing con-artistry that does nothing at all whilst some of what does actually have an effect, the effect is not detectable without sensitive measuring devices (http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Audio_woo#Magical_cables)

It might do something but I'd just be careful meself, see if there is any credible source validating it before buying.

Ps: I just noticed the price tag and I reckon this is likely pure grade bulls**t.
Hope is but the first step upon the road to disappointment.

Well there's an awful lot of reviews - did you read them???? People are claiming some rather extraordinary things - it can even increase your midichlorian count, provided you install it the right way round. Apparently...

Looks more con than cable if you ask me. :D

I thought the reviews I glanced at were just the usual pee taking comments you often find on Amazon, but there be loads of em and some are quite amusing.

Could be a viral marketing campaign as it was apparently for five hundred dollars and not the ten grand it's pegged at now. The sellers are just as ridiculous as the reviews are so this is unlikely to be a real product.
