There is apparently a company looking into adapting the nano-scale architecture of a gekco's hands (claws? feet?) and building it into a pair of gloves to allow you to scale walls ala spidey.
You can also already buy exoskeletons in japan. Not quite at the level of sophistication as Iron Man's, but its a start. Listening to AC/DC while you saunter around in it is optional

I kid ye not Mr Wolf. In fact, im sure it was in our hallowed focus not many moons ago. The article on high tech warfare i believe. I will admit though, it does look more like a toy than a seriously exoskeleton...not to mention fairly ridiculous.
