Fact is if you have had a hard active life you will burn yourself out all the sooner, I was once told that every year in the armed forces took a year of your life and looking at those who are left I can see a certain logic in the idea that Sumo wrestlers are as healthy as anyone else, but in a different way.
What really chews my rug is old people who have lived a life of luxury taking up jogging at 60 and then bemoaning the lax state of health of their contemporaries who had a hard time of it. Sorry, going off topic.
