Animals...

What is your favourite (animal and why)?

Me: Probably a Chameleon (at the moment) because of the colour changing.

What is your ugliest animal?

Me: Blobfish https://encrypted-tbn1.google.com/image ... IUM-oseea-

Meet Puss - he's not quite so ugly now, but when he was young I think he just about qualified as the ugliest chicken in the world.

Interesting choice there MPL. I read up on Tardigrades, and apparently, NASA had packed some off on the Russian spacecraft Phobos-Grunt. Not sure how responsible that was. From there, they could easily have found their way to other planets after a meteorite impact on Phobos. I have nothing against seeding the planets, but I'd like to establish beforehand if life managed to emerge on its own somewhere.

I think my favourite animal has to be the tiger. It's a really beautiful cat, I wouldn't fancy meeting one face to face mind.
Other choices would include several species of tropical fish.
My choice for ugliest animal would probably be the proboscis monkey.
